If you’re looking for some quick and simple Valentine’s Day treats to make, these are some of my go-to ideas. Not only are these little Valentine’s Day goodies delicious, but they are fun and super easy to make. Each of these treats can be made for almost any occasion or holiday. Even though very simple to make, they are festive and a favorite for our family.
This post is all about how I make quick and easy Valentine’s Day Treats.

Valentine’s Day Treats Made From Pillsbury Sugar Cookie Dough
I have a secret to admit, I took a few shortcuts when making these cut out sugar cookies. My mom and grandma always made the dough from scratch and I loved decorating cookies we cut out together. As a busy mom, I have always used the pre-made dough instead of homemade just to save some time. Our kids have fun memories of decorating cookies like I did at their age, even with my secret shortcuts. Even with more time now, I used the pre-made dough and frosting to save time, there is also less mess.

1 | GATHER YOUR SUPPLIES

Heart Cookie Cutter Set-6 Pieces in Gratuated Size-Stainless Steel

Farberware 5215807 Classic Wood Rolling Pin, 17.75-Inch, Natural
2 | OPEN THE PACKAGE AND KNEAD THE DOUGH
Mix with some flour and knead the dough until it is not sticky. Add some flour to your surface and flatten the dough out with your hands. Before I roll out the dough, I add some flour to your rolling pin to prevent the dough from sticking.

3 | CUT OUT THE COOKIES
Carefully remove the heart shapes from the dough and place on your cookie sheet. You can pre-heat the over per instructions on the package while cutting out cookies.

4 | FOLLOW BAKING INSTRUCTIONS ON PACKAGE
Check on the cookies before the timer goes off so you don’t over-bake them. Remove from oven and cool your soon-to-be Valentine’s Day Treats.

5 | FROST THE VALENTINE’S DAY COOKIES
Scoop out some frosting, place into three bowls and add the food coloring. Then mix well until you have your desired color. Betty Crocker Buttercream frosting is not only yummy, but much quicker than making it from scratch. Wilton Food Coloring has some beautiful, vibrant colors and you don’t need much to create a great color. I did use a frosting tip to outline the cookies quickly. Then I used a knife to spread the frosting onto the cookie. This Valentine’s Day treat is super simple, fun, time saving and tasty.

Peanut Butter Blossoms Valentine’s Day Style
These are my favorite, Valentine’s Day treat. Not only are these one of the easiest cookies you can make, they are one of the yummiest. Keep reading as I share my second cookie making shortcut. I used Pillsbury Peanut Butter Cookie dough purchased at Target. To decorate, I used Wilton Sugar Sprinkles (Available at Walmart and Michaels) and Doves Chocolate Hearts to make these. You can also use Hershey Kisses because they work just as well.

1 | ROLL INTO BALLS
The best thing about this pre-made dough is that it’s already cut into sections. All you have to do is break off a little section and roll it into a ball. Add some of the sugar sprinkles to a bowl and roll the little balls until they are coated in red.

2 | FOLLOW BAKING INSTRUCTIONS ON PACKAGE
Place on a cookie sheet and bake. Check on the cookies before the timer goes off. While the Valentine’s Day goodies are baking, unwrap the chocolate hearts. Set them aside so they are ready to use, as this takes more time than making the cookies.

3 | PRESS AN UNWRAPPED HEART INTO THE CENTER OF EACH COOKIE
Take the cookies out of the oven. Let them sit for a minute, then gently press a chocolate heart into the center of each cookie. Such an easy, sweet and festive Valentine’s Day treat!

Pretzel Rolo Bites is a favorite Valentine’s Day Treat
My daughter showed me how to make this cute Valentine’s Day treat. She and her roommates love to make them because they are so simple and yummy. All you need is a bag of square pretzels, some Rolo candy and Valentine’s Day Milk Chocolate M&Ms.
1 | PLACE PRETZELS ON COOKIE SHEET
Unwrap the Rolo candies and place one in the center of each pretzel.

2 | HEAT OVEN TO 200˚
After two minutes, remove these little Valentines Day goodies from the over. Next, gently press an M&M in the center of each Rolo. Cool and enjoy!

3 | SAVE A FEW FOR YOURSELF BECAUSE THESE WON’T LAST LONG!
I just know these little goodies will be gone the day the care package arrives.
